Practical Information

We are looking forward to welcoming you all to our conference meeting soon. Please see below for joining instructions and general information.

DAY 1: Coutts, 440 Strand, London WC2R 0QS

Underground.svg  Nearest Tube is Charing Cross served by the Bakerloo and Northern lines.

Registration will open at 0900 in the main foyer of Coutts’ offices where you will be met by Coutts’ staff and escorted to the conference meeting area for tea and coffee.  Conference sessions will start promptly at 0930.

Cloakroom and toilets are available in the conference meeting area.

Viewings of the Chinese wallpapers in the boardroom will be arranged in designated groups during rest breaks. Groups are denoted by colours on your conference badge.

Entry and exit from Coutts premises will be by staff escort only and no photography is permitted on site, including in the board room where the wallpaper hangs.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.

Please keep hold of your delegate badges for day 2.


DAY 2: Victoria and Albert Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7 2RL

Underground.svg Nearest Tube is South Kensington served by the District and Circle lines and the       Piccadilly lines.

Doors open at the V&A at 1000. Please enter via the main entrance on Cromwell road and deposit coats and any items/bags larger than a small brief case in the cloakroom at the grand entrance before proceeding to seminar room 3. No large bags will be permitted at the afternoon studio/gallery tours.

Our venue for day 2 will be seminar room 3 which can be found in the learning centre on the 3rd floor. V&A staff will be on hand to provide directions and you can also find a map which highlights a route to the learning centre here: Routes To Learning Centre VA MUSEUM(1)

Tea and coffee will be served on arrival and the first session will start promptly at 1025.

Please bring your conference badges from day one for re-use. The coloured dot on your badge denotes your grouping for the afternoon studio/gallery tours. Please follow these allocated groupings.
